About the role

Are you a seasoned quality management professional looking for a new challenge? Join our team as a Global Quality Manager and play a pivotal role in driving the development and enhancement of our global quality management system (QMS). You'll provide expert support to strategic customers on quality-related matters and help lead our organization towards quality excellence.

 

Key responsibilities:

Develop and Enhance Global Quality Management System (QMS):

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the global QMS.
  • Standardize QMS processes and procedures across all company sites to meet industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for streamlining global processes and enhancing efficiency within the QMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global process owners to implement quality initiatives and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organization.

 

Provide Customer Support:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic customers on quality-related issues.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback related to product quality.
  • Conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales and local quality teams to resolve quality-related issues and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage global quality and specification agreements involving multiple sites.
  • Coordinate internally and liaise with customers until completion of agreements.

 

Implement Quality Training and Education Programs:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness and competency across the organization.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to uphold quality standards.

 

Change Management Support:

  • Organize and coordinate meetings with stakeholders to support the global change management process.
  • Oversee action plans and follow up with action owners until completion.

 

Support for Global Projects:

  • Ensure alignment with customer and regulatory requirements for global projects.
  • Review and authorize specifications, develop control plans, and ensure change control and risk management.

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or Sciences (advanced degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a global manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in cGMP regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO9001 / 15378).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ASQ) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%).
  • Proficiency in Office applications.
  • Good knowledge of production processes and materials.
  • Excellent command of the English language (oral and written).
