Product Manager, Aluminum

As Product Manager for our Aluminum portfolio, you will shape the strategy and future direction of one of Datwyler Healthcare’s key product lines. Your work will directly influence how we innovate, bring differentiating solutions to market, and deliver value to customers across the pharmaceutical industry. In this role, you will combine technical insight with market understanding to drive growth, ensure strong commercial performance, and guide products from concept through commercialization. You will play a central role in connecting customer needs, internal capabilities, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct VOC interviews, market research, and competitive analysis to identify customer needs and market trends
  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap for the aluminum portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy
  • Lead product lifecycle management, including portfolio optimization and rationalization
  • Translate customer and market requirements into clear product performance and technical specifications
  • Act as the key commercial link across functions to ensure products are developed, manufactured, and launched successfully
  • Define market positioning and value propositions, and support creation of sales tools, messaging, and go-to-market plans
  • Drive pricing strategy and collaborate with Commercial Excellence to maximize revenue and margin
  • Develop thought-leadership content such as white papers, case studies, and partnership initiatives
  • Collaborate with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure compliance with global standards (cGMP, ISO, USP)

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science, Engineering, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • 3–5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, or a technical commercial role, ideally in pharma or medical devices
  • Strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical packaging formats (e.g., vials, ampoules, blister foils, pre-filled syringes, auto-injectors)
  • Ability to translate complex technical and market data into clear strategic decisions
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical and commercial topics to diverse audiences
  • Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional or matrix environment
  • Customer-centric mindset and willingness to engage directly with clients
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (approx. 20–30%)
