In this position you are responsible for the product design of medical devices and components. You not only develop new products but also improve existing ones in terms of design and usability. Bearing in mind the used technology, materials, manufacturing methods and available budget. In order to generate a cost effective design proposal, you work in close collaboration with internal and external partners such as engineers, simulation teams and industrial/product designers. We rely on your technical drawing skills to come in handy in serial and prototype tooling development. During the construction and qualification of the tools you offer support and act as a technical contact person for the customers and the members of the internal Healthcare Engineering team. You also communicate about and follow up on mold related projects.


You have an engineering degree and a solid technical background in product development and tool design.  Preferably you have 5 years of professional experience in a similar position.  You are familiar with rubber and plastic manufacturing processes and are capable of leading projects and participating in project teams. You possess good knowledge of  Creo software or other 3D software packages. Thanks to your great commercial feeling, outstanding team spirit and flexible work attitude you easily get along with customers and colleagues in an international environment. You love to work independently and to travel abroad from time to time for short trips. Good knowledge of English is a must.
