Job description:
Customer complaints investigations.
- Coordination of the investigation, involve the relevant people.
- Documentation of all information in an investigation report (8D method) within the due date
- Communication with customers (mail, calls, for cause audits)
- Follow up on defined actions (CAPA's) with the involved CAPA-owners, and escalate in case of issues.
- Start improvement projects based on the outcome of complaints. Use of problem solving/process standardization tools in these projects.
- Trending of complaints
Lead continuous improvement projects and facilitate standardization projects using "process standardization" tools within the QA department. Also support production and process engineering in improvement/standardization projects on site (SBE).
Act as a quality expert to handle crisis situations (critical complaints, internal events, audit observations, ...)
Participate in FMEA's as a quality expert
Perform factory walks
Give training to new people
Interaction/ communication:
- Lead a project team
- Discuss with DPS Manager/QA manager about project approach
- Present project progress to the management
- Discuss with sales, operations, QA/ QC - advise and convince people • Discuss with customers about complaints - advise and convince
Knowledge and languages:
- Good knowledge of problem solving tools (Ishikawa, 5 Why?, Keppner Tregoe etc.)
- Good knowledge of Statistics and related software applications like Minitab
- Good knowledge of Office applications
- Good knowledge of production processes/ materials etc.
- Good knowledge of the English language (oral and written communication)
