Quality Improvement Engineer
Goal
Contributing to NPI (New Product Introduction) projects and process improvements to ensure that the quality requirements of the customer and Datwyler are in place and in line with the Datwyler Quality Management System.
Your Responsibilities
Quality lead of NPI (New Product Introduction) projects from early start until commercial production.
- Determine the quality requirements at different stages of the New Product Introduction projects and ensure these are met
- Establish product specifications and ensure these are in line with Datwyler capabilities
- Ensure compliance with Datwyler QMS and legal requirements regarding primary packaging materials
- Evaluate risks , changes and their impact on validation status and product quality
- Develop the control plans for new products
- Ensure training of the operational Quality teams before handover to routine production
- Review and approve documents, specifications, change control, validation documents, SOP’s etc.
- Perform statistical data analysis e.g. capability studies) and facilitate fact based decision making
- Knowledge sharing within the organization (local and global) and acting as a liaison between the organization and the quality / customer requirements and regulatory compliance
- Support during customer audits related to New Products and act as SME
Your Profile
- Master degree in an engineering or scientific field, or at least acting on the same working and thinking level
- Minimal 3 years of relevant quality experience within QbD, APQP, …
- Knowledge of relevant standards and legislations (ISO 9001, ISO15378, EU GMP, FDA…)
- Knowledge of statistics and related software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to cooperate with colleagues in different departments and internal/external customers
- An open-minded and pro-active mindset with a hands-on and entrepreneurial approach
- High level of integrity to build trust with people
- Fluent Dutch and English (both verbal and written communication)
