We are looking for a Payroll Manager

with experience and passion in the areas of Payroll and a strong interest in Compensation & Benefit projects. In this comprehensive role, you will manage the entire Payroll area end-to-end, manage the social security process and provide data analytics for us to make the right decisions for the future. You will be the main contact person for colleagues and senior managers on all topics of payroll and C&B. In addition, you will support us in the area of HR Operations and together with your 3 colleagues deliver a first class HR services to our 300 employees in Altdorf.
If you do have international work experience, we would also love to involve you in Global C&B projects to help shape our compensation strategy and improve our existing processes.

In a typical month, this is how you’ll spend your time.

  • 60%          Managing monthly payroll process and data analytics
  • 25%          Support HR Operations
  • 15%          Work on (Global) Compensation projects

  • DAILY                      HR Director Switzerland (Direct Line Reporting)
  • DAILY                      HR Team Switzerland 
  • OFTEN                   Global VP HR
  • OFTEN                   Extended Management Team and Team leaders 
  • SOMETIMES         Other Group Functions

Is this you?

Your Experience

  • You have finished a solid commercial apprenticeship (or similar)
  • You have some form of education in the area of HR/Payroll or Social Security
  • You worked in a similar payroll function before
  • You have good knowledge in working with SAP and HRIS - ideally SAP SF
  • You worked across borders with international colleagues

Your characteristics

  • You can work independently and delivery results on deadline
  • You have an independent, hands-on mentality and get things done
  • You speak and write German fluently and English on a good level
  • You are flexible and like to improve your work continuously
  • You like to laugh and enjoy working in an informal environment
