Summary/Objective

The Maintenance Technical Planner / Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting maintenance operations by managing the parts inventory system, scheduling preventive maintenance activities, and contract services, and ensuring record keeping and system data integrity. This role is responsible for sustaining optimal spare part levels and supporting equipment performance to meet production goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Schedules and performs preventive maintenance action items in accordance with predictive/preventive maintenance plans.
• Manages spare parts inventory including processing, stocking, posting incoming orders, and maintaining parts files in SAP.
• Prepares and performs annual parts inventory.
• Maintains PM procedures in Pilgrim and corresponding PM02 creation in SAP 4Hana.
• Partners with global resources to support SAP S4 implementation and ensure work order and tool life tracking accuracy.
• Identifies, procures, and monitors critical spares with attention to long-lead time components.
• Works within the Quality System to document by Non-Conformity, any failure to perform PM’s.
• Supports customer audits presenting Maintenance PM program and evidence of proper performance.
• Communicates with internal departments and external vendors regarding parts and maintenance scheduling.
• Oversees timely completion of all PM’s verifying technicians are completing on time and properly documenting same.
• Trains operators and technicians in maintenance best practices and parts handling procedures.
• Demonstrates strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement across maintenance functions.

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing spare parts and maintenance planning.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP S4HANA and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift license and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical systems, maintenance intervals, and OSHA regulations.
