Goal

According to Datwyler strategy and related projects’ requirements, the IM Tooling Specialist is responsible for CM to IM transfer project tooling design localization, and future IM concepting and tooling design.

Responsibilities

• Lead CM to IM transfer project tooling design, and main contact window for European tooling design team.
• In charge of tool, fixtures, gauges design for CM to IM transfer project, complete all those designs. 
• Support other plant's CM to IM projects and IM tooling localization in Asia.
• Support IM tool concept during RFQ period
• Support mold manufacturing
• Train the local tooling designers for future IM tooling design. 
• Other IM new technology development

Profile

• Junior college degree or above, mechanical engineering or similar major
• English (Proficient in listening, speaking and writing)
• 10+ years' experience in rubber/silicone/plastic products tool design 
• At least proficient use in one of Solidworks CAD, UG, CREO, CATIA drawing tools (Solidworks CAD is preferred) 
• Able to make tool design (3D-modeling and drawings) independently. 
• FEA Analysis basic knowledge is preferred
• Common understand IATF16949 system, quality tools, quality problems of rubber products 
• Global business trip is required.
