Company Description

Parco, a Datwyler company based in Switzerland, is a leading manufacturer of high-performance O-rings and custom seals. Founded in 1941, Parco was the first manufacturer to specialize in O-rings, still our primary product. TST was acquired by Parco in 2017 and is a custom shop specializing in a wide variety of sealing solutions.  We sell to many of the world’s leading companies and our products are used in numerous high-tech applications to drilling rigs in the North Sea.

Duties and Responsibilities

Parco, a Datwyler company is looking for a talented and driven customer service representative to follow the below responsibilities:

  • Follow contract review process and enter customer purchase orders into SAP. Capture all critical customer notes and enter into SAP orders.
  • Responsible for all order management activities (e.g. order entry, pricing info, delivery information, status updates, expedites, and order/schedule changes).
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with external and internal customers, Sales, and internal departments through open and interactive professional communication.
  • Act as liaison between the organization and the customer. Provide proactive information, answer questions, and resolve emerging sales order problems, delays, and escalations.
  • Respond to and follow up on RFQs. Create quotes in CRM. Create and implement follow up activities accordingly.
  • Use of CRM to manage leads and accounts as assigned. Partner with KAMs on key account coverage and existing accounts.
  • Work closely with cross functional depts to manage customer satisfaction levels from time of order placement through order fulfillment delivery of customer purchase orders. 
  • Intake and manage customer complaints and requests for material returns, capturing in the complaint long as necessary.
  • Under established guidelines, act independently communicating policy and procedures. 
  • Other related duties as required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
  • 10 years of customer service experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong computer skills (SAP, CRM, customer portals, Microsoft Office especially Excel - intermediate level).
  • Strong interpersonal and phone skill sets.
  • Must possess strong math skills, including but not limited to, multiplication and division of all units of measure.
  • Extremely organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a position attitude.
  • Effective, professional communication style, both oral and written.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work/customer environment.
