The production foreman manages and develops production staff to ensure all manufacturing targets and safety standards are met. 

Specific Duties

The production foreman performs these activities:

  • Reviews and approves timecards on a bi-weekly basis
  • Completes work order changes as required
  • Communicates acompany's objectives and performance expectations to employees
  • Motivates employees to m eet company objectives
  • Trains employees on specific, detailed, and routine job skills and techniques
  • Conducts employee performance evaluations
  • Counsels employees
  • Meets assigned productions goals
  • Orders and maintains raw material inventory
  • Follows safety rules

Experience Required 

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of molding production experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and molding production experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for reporting and analysis
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Must read, write, and speak English
  • This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Physical Requirements

  • All jobs require sufficient physical strength and dexterity to perform the required task(s) and typically also require at a minimum: intermittent sitting, standing, walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more with assistance may also be required.
