The operator performs these activities: |
|
|
|

|
1. Completes weekly time card. |
|
||||
|
2. Follows mixing schedule. |
|
||||
|
3. Follows safety rules. |
|
||||
|
The operator may perform any of these operations: |
|
||||
|
1. Dispenses polymer. |
|
||||
|
2. Dispenses filler. |
|
||||
|
3. Dispenses small ingredients. |
|
||||
|
4. Mixes material using a mill. |
|
||||
|
5. Mixes compound from internal mixer using a mill. |
|
||||
|
6. Prepares compound for storage after mixing. |
|
||||
|
7. Issues material to production. |
|
||||
|
8. Handles material returned from production (remill) to mixing. |
|||||
Experience Required
|
Minimum experience: six months as a compounder. Must have a working knowledge of the mixing characteristics of Parco's Compounds. |
|
|
Minimum education: 12th grade or equivalent. Must read, write, and speak English. Must be able to operate a forklift. |
|
Physial Requirements
Stands on concrete floor up to 10 hours. Lifts bales of polymer weighing up to 75 pounds.
