Position Summary

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for producing high-quality outputs for our Healthcare business. The Content Marketing Manager will update existing material, generate novel work, and identify new ways to reach consumers. The Content Marketing Manager should also contribute to the shaping of our stylistic guidelines.

To be a successful content creator, the Content Marketing Manager should focus on appealing to consumers' interests by creating engaging material. Ultimately, an exceptional content creator will promote collaboration between internal stakeholders to ensure consistency in our company's outputs.

Essential Functions

  • Write and publish engaging, informative, and accurate content to be used on Datwyler’s marketing channels.
  • Coordinate information sessions with Datwyler experts to assist with the creation of technically-based articles and white papers.
  • Manage the digital channels in which we post content, such as social media, blogs, etc.
  • Use SEO best practices to ensure that the content generated positions Datwyler as a leader on popular search engines.


  • Writing, reviewing, editing, and updating content for company websites, blogs, marketing materials, and similar platforms.
  • Conducting research and interviews to learn more about current trends, developments, and perceptions about the subject matter, and then contextualizing your findings.
  • Assisting the Marketing team with the design of promotional materials.
  • Managing the distribution of content through our various channels, including social media.
  • Orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems.
  • Utilizing SEO methods to increase site traffic.
  • Suggesting new ways to promote company offerings and to reach consumers.
  • Coming up with content goals and strategies and pitching ideas to the Marketing and Communications teams.
  • Collaborating with other departments and team members and brainstorming subjects for creative content.
  • Analyzing performance indicators and web traffic and determining the effectiveness of created content.
  • Knowing which platform different kinds of content are best suited to.

Your Profile

You are a professional with 5-7 years’ experience in a healthcare / pharmaceutical environment with a Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing or similar field. This position requires strong communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as demonstrated excellence in writing, proofreading, and editing. The Content Marketing Manager will have the ability to create strong, engaging content and have experience with various digital marketing tools.

Physical Requirements

The work of this position requires sitting as much as 80% of the workday, and using force to lift, push or pull between 25 and 30 pounds. Occasionally, the work requires climbing (portable ladders to get samples) and balancing (when carrying boxes). The incumbent of this position will be required to travel, locally, domestically and internationally via car, bus, train, plane for many hours one-way. Business needs require that the employee in this position work an established 40 hour workweek and periodically work additional hours outside of the standard schedule.
