Staff Accountant
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and enter journal entries
- Prepare various balance sheet analysis workpapers
- Mastercard entries
- Participate in various cost savings initiatives
- Back up for Union Payroll
- Back up for Accounts Payable
- Customer Billing
- Record bank entries, manual checks, deposits
- Headcount reporting
- Assist in the Preparation of Financial Statements
- Reconciling Sub-ledgers to General Ledger Account Balances
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or higher in Accounting or Finance
- Advanced Excel Skills
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work in a team, reliability and effective communication skills
- Hands-on personality
