Purpose of the job

Work closely with the Product & Sales functions & external suppliers to implement Procurement & EDI solutions (EDI, Ariba Network, SNC) in line with customer & supplier requests.

Manage and deliver requests from the business for new implementation, management of change requests and production support issues relating to customer integration with Distrelec’s systems.

Experience required

Skills & Behavioral Competencies

  • Good knowledge and understanding of legacy EDI exchanges.

  • Knowledge of EDI mapping tools

  • Proven Experience of implementing eProcurement tools and Portals with customers/suppliers (EDI, Ariba Network / PunchOut, SNC)

  • Understanding of XML based integration and IP technologies.

  • Data processing and Offline catalogue provision (marketplaces, online portals, upload)

  • SQL & Access Database skills

  • Experience with SAP an advantage, and worked on or with the SAP Sales modules

  • Experience with Hybris/SAP Back Office an advantage

  • Ability to plan and prioritise own work effectively to achieve commercially focused goals.

  • Excellent communicator.

  • Bears personal responsibility and demonstrate quality awareness.

  • Behaves loyally and complies with rules, regulations and legal requirements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Onboarding new trading partners and support accurate, proper data exchanges within the organisation

  • Monitor systems, analyse the data exchanged and own prioritisation and resolution of any defects.

  • Administration of offline catalogue solutions, building large data sets from multiple sources and manipulation of data (i.e. pricing) as required.

  • Implementing new PunchOut integrations via Ariba on the Hybris webshop

  • Articulate specific customer integration requirements into 3rd party technical delivery teams.

  • Facilitate and oversee the transactional and connectivity testing of customer integrations

  • Administer Supplier accounts/systems for all eProcurement vendor interfaces
