IT Finance Systems Specialist – Travel & Expense

You responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the T&E system (SAP Concur)
  • Manage user access, permissions, and system configurations in partnership with IT and HR
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues with IT and external vendors
  • Monitor system performance, data flows, and integrations to ensure accurate financial postings
  • Align T&E workflows with company policies and accounting requirements
  • Support integrations between T&E tools and ERP systems (SAP)
  • Drive process improvements focused on automation, efficiency, and compliance
  • Assist with expense reporting, analysis, and compliance monitoring
  • Ensure T&E processes meet internal control, audit, and data privacy standards
  • Maintain accurate approval workflows and audit trails
  • Collaborate with Finance for proper accounting treatment and reporting
  • Act as a bridge between IT, Finance, HR, and Procurement to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Support Finance during monthly and annual closing with T&E-related data and analysis
  • Coordinate system testing, upgrades, and user acceptance activities
  • Develop and deliver training materials and user guides

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Finance systems, Travel & Expense management, or a cross-functional IT–Finance role
  • Experience with a T&E platform (e.g., SAP Concur) and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
  • Master’s degree in Technology or Business Process Management will be considered as plus
  • Experience with Concur and SAP VIM and FICO will be considered as plus
  • Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to translate business requirements into system solutions
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work with global stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, process-oriented mindset, and continuous improvement focus
