IT Analyst

 

Join Datwyler as the on-site IT partner for our manufacturing facility. Keep local technology running reliably, provide hands-on support, and connect plant needs with regional and global IT teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the local contact for IT incidents, requests, and production-impacting issues.
  • Support computers, mobile devices, printers, conference-room technology, plant-floor equipment, and manufacturing systems including MES, SAP integrations, SCADA, LIMS, scanners, and label printers.
  • Coordinate network, server, wireless, telecom, cybersecurity, backup, and business-continuity activities with corporate teams.
  • Assist with system upgrades, testing, deployments, infrastructure projects, and production-line implementations.
  • Maintain IT assets and documentation, coordinate vendors, and communicate incidents, outages, risks, and project updates.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-7 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, wireless infrastructure, servers, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Experience with MES, SAP, SCADA, LIMS, or ServiceNow preferred.
  • Fluent English is required to support employees and collaborate effectively with regional and global teams.
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer-service, organization, and documentation skills; ability to prioritize critical issues and provide occasional after-hours, weekend, or travel support.
