Your Responsibilities

You are responsible to manage innovative technology developments leading to new products and business areas. For that you will be working together with the relevant teams of our global organization and external partners. According to the department’s Technology Roadmap and exploiting your expertise, your technical skills and creativity, you identify and further develop new and innovative technologies that are not yet in the company’s toolbox. You identify relevant use cases (possible product and/or business ideas) based on the targeted technologies and demonstrate their potential (feasibility, usability). In addition, you apply standardized processes of innovation and technology development and generate and keep up to date technology development related documentation based on regulatory, market and/or customer requirements.

Your Profile

You have graduated as a technician or engineer specialised in elastomer/plastics technology, mechanical engineering or innovation engineering along with the necessary basic project management experience. Supplementary expertise in the area of metal forming would be a plus. Next to the common knowledge of MS Office, you are familiar with CAD (design, simulation). Based on your communication skills and your creativity, you are able to convince and inspire our internal and external customers. Because of the international focus of the position, a certain willingness to travel is indispensable. Very good English and German language skills, ideally supplemented by another European language, are mandatory for your successful activities.
