Internship in Materials Development focusing on solid-state batteries (f/m)

Between 3 and 9 months

Your responsibilites

  • Carry out a study focusing on solid-state battery electrolyte based on polymer/elastomer composites
  • Review the state of the art of different material solutions for electrolytes in solid-state batteries
  • Investigate different processing methods to create extremely thin material sheets (tenths and hundreds of microns)
  • Carry out trials in a lab environment, including characterization and evaluation of results
  • Work across different departments within the organization in material development, engineering and laboratories and in close contact with Datwyler experts
  • Report on results, trials and analysis in a scientific manner

 

 

Our requirements

  • BSc or MSc-student in the field of materials science (e.g. materials chemistry, chemical engineering, materials engineering, applied physics, etc.)
  • Good knowledge in materials and their characterization methods
  • Experience to work in a lab environment
  • Good analytical understanding and ability to report results in a scientific manner
  • Driven, motivated, independent, purposeful and communicative personality
  • Fluent in written and oral English skills (Level C1), German will be an advantage
