Key Account Manager General Industry
The Key Account Manager serves as the primary commercial contact for both mature and new business. The role focuses on identifying customer needs, driving profitable growth, and expanding business opportunities with existing and new customers. You will support the General Industry Offering Strategy, conduct market analysis, and secure new applications and competitive wins.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as commercial lead for existing and potential customers, ensuring strong customer presence and relationship development.
- Identify customer pain points, new business opportunities, and relevant applications or products.
- Manage sales activities, budgeting, forecasting, and communication with internal teams.
- Lead or support negotiations and ensure customer requirements are clearly translated into internal actions.
- Drive acquisition of new business in collaboration with NBD, engineering, and operations—both within and beyond the current customer portfolio.
- Coordinate technical reviews, prepare offers with costing teams, and follow up to secure customer decisions.
- Manage pricing reviews, delivery coordination with supply chain, AR management, payment terms, and customer conflict resolution.
- Oversee contract review and ongoing account management.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemical, or macromolecule‑related field.
- 5+ years of GI market experience with immediate contribution ability.
- Strong customer‑oriented mindset with solid analytical, financial, and interpersonal skills.
- Effective communicator across all levels; excellent written and verbal English.
- Self‑starter, team player, and able to work cross‑functionally.
- Based in Yantze Delta region; willing to travel for customer visits, conferences, and internal meetings.
