The position

We are seeking a skilled Consultant customer Project Manager to temporarily help us oversee customer development projects, ensuring functional products are delivered in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams, drive collaboration, and exceed customer expectations.

 

Your Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Define a clear project vision, goals, and success metrics.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Identify risks proactively and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Align expectations and ensure support through active stakeholder engagement.

Customer Focus

  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their goals, needs, and expectations.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans and deliverables.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and next steps.
  • Foster open communication between customers, project teams, and stakeholders.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Create and maintain project documentation in line with internal, regulatory, and customer standards.
  • Provide timely updates on project progress, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain standard project management templates.

Team Leadership

  • Promote collaboration, creativity, and accountability within cross-functional teams.
  • Clearly define team roles and responsibilities to ensure alignment.
  • Motivate and support the team, addressing challenges while maintaining morale.

Your Profile

  • You are self-employed
  • You hold a master’s degree in engineering or equivalent with over five years of project management experience and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. 
  • A PMP certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical devices industry is essential, with knowledge of primary containers considered a plus.
  • As a skilled communicator and effective leader, you excel at motivating teams, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring deliverables align with customer expectations.
  • With an international focus, you are adaptable and willing to travel as needed.
  • Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in Dutch is an added advantage.
