IT Business Partner (f/m/d)

In this position you’re the main point of contact for new or running IT initiatives or programs within a specific business unit. It enables you to work with our customers, our different departments and external partners as well as suppliers. Your responsibilities 

• Responsible for the development and implementation of solution roadmaps and to ensure successful introductions across the organization
• Oversee the activities of the different IT domains 
• Provide highly-valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives
• Perform business analysis and prepare recommendations and business plans as needed
• Ensure to understand the specific goals of the overall business to implement the right priorities of IT initiatives
• Manage the dependencies between major IT initiatives/programs
• Ensure that right stakeholders are engaged in major IT initiatives/programs
• Possess a broad knowledge of most technical and business resources and use them to effectively coordinate team members and external resources 
• Work closely with project teams and assigned IT project managers 
• Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards
• Participate in strategic and budgetary planning processes
• Participate in field research for innovation and new technologies and evaluate their applicability to the specific business unit/division

Our requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field 
• 7-10 years of experience in IT and business/industry work
• Experience in developing and executing strategic plans and/or project portfolios
• Extensive experience in manufacturing industry (discrete/process) and knowledge of the main business end-to-end process flows
• Very good understanding of ERP fundamentals, CRM applications and ecommerce
• Strong experience with SAP ERP Implementations
• Certification in S/4HANA or SAP Activate is a plus 
• Solid foundation in project management methodology (agile certification is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills coupled with expert-level reporting skills required
• Entrepreneur / Proactive attitude and capability to work with a minimum guidance
• Capability to work in a multi-cultural environment 
• Relationship-building and effective communication skills in order to positively influence peers and other stakeholders
• Fluent in written and oral English (Level C1)
