The Role
General:
- Co-ordination of the local responsible teams (Purchasing & Harnessing Engineering)
- Methodology & process guidance and optimization
- Sourcing and Engineering Project management (NPD, Saving & Optimization, Risk management)
- Connection of the engineering and sourcing activities – driving synergies
Sourcing:
- Strategic sourcing activities (new acquisitions/search, negotiations, resourcing, evaluation & qualification)
- Communication with suppliers and management of material supply for production (including inbound transportation, complaints)
- Inventory management (safety stock levels ownership)
Engineering:
- Project & product management in accordance with the customer, legal and organizational requirements.
- Design and creation of samples, their debugging and introduction of new products into production. Determines technological procedures.
- Looks for streamlining and possible production savings within lean processes
- Technical support of production including control of compliance with technology and production process
- Communication across the business (incl. customer) in terms of optimization & project implementation
Your Profile
- High school degree - technical education
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering & Manufacturing environment
- Fluent in Czech and English, German language would be an advantace
- SAP knowledge, Excell
- Communication skills on a very good level, organized, analytical thinking, drive for improvement, stress resistance, critical thinking
- Technical drawings knowledge
