JOB PURPOSE

•    Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 -Install, Configure and Administer
•    Citrix solution deployment and management
•    Manage and fix the vulnerabilities
•    Understand Windows Architecture, provide recommendations to enhance & improve Architecture 
•    Active Directory/LDAP user and group administration
 

SKILLS, TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES AND BEHAVIOUR

•    Certification : VMware/ Nutanix, MCSE, AWS/Azure Cloud
•    10+ years of professional experience exclusively as a Windows Administrator/Engineer.
•    Minimum of 7 years’ experience designing and implementing Windows servers systems to suit varying application and availability requirements
•    Ability to write scripts in some administrative language (e.g., Perl, Python, VBScript, Windows PowerShell)
•    Aggressively automates repeated tasks to allow the team to scale with the organization’s growth 
•    Knowledge and application of ITIL and best practice methods in a medium to large sized organisation
•    Experience working together with application owners, business units and 3rd parties to deliver shared goals
•    Hands-on solution design skills and the ability to objectively quality assure 3rd party solution designs to ensure they meet business expectations.
•    Strong understanding of different cultural working patterns.
•    Fluent in English.
•    Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
•    Bear personal responsibility and demonstrate quality awareness.
•    Behave loyally and comply with rules, regulations and legal requirements.
 

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Developing and implementing server availability (24x7x365) uptime service, security and performance configurations and delivering system updates. 
•    Working experience in VMware vCenter, ESXi Environment and Nutanix Prism Element and Prism Central
•    Mandatory Experience in Planning & Designing server migration/upgrade activities in large scale server/data center migration activities.
•    Working experience on Citrix VDI and App solution
•    Hands on experience on ADFS/SSO, Azure AD
•    Hands on experience of DFS configuration and replication
•    Excellent Experience in Scripting, VB script, PowerShell and Batch script.
•    Handling the Major Incidents and Root Cause analysis Knowledge on Microsoft Active Directory including setting domain policies, Group Policy, ADFS and Networking  Services like DNS Services, DHCP Services, IIS Server, and Client configuration / troubleshooting.
•    Experience in Windows Patching Process, Vulnerability Management. 
•    Provide input on ways to improve the stability, efficiency and scalability of the environment. 
•    Hands on experience of HPE 3PAR STORESERV STORAGE
•    Ability to troubleshoot network issues including back bone infrastructure issues
•    LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Subnetting, 802.1Q trunks) 
•    Perform and test routine system backups and restores.
•    Have familiarity with NAS and SAN storage management.
•    Have familiarity with MS SQL server, windows clustering.
•    Configuration of Terminal Server Licensing, Setting up Jump Hosts, Load Balancing & Application installation.
•    Understands fundamentals of large scale on-premises and cloud mission critical systems; networking, security, redundancy, scalability, monitoring, & performance.    
•    Experience of Anti-Virus (Cortex XDR) and Security principles is a plus.
•    Participate in and support capacity planning and the development of long-term strategic goals for systems and software in conjunction with end-users and department managers
•    Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.
•    Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance 
•    Develop and maintain documentation about current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices
