Expert Physical Laboratory (f/m/d) 
Technology & Innovation

This position enables you to work with our customers, our different departments and external partners as well as suppliers. Your responsibilities 

  • Coordination and execution of physical analysis (incoming inspection, release process and requalification) required for raw materials, compounds and final parts
  • Execution of physical analysis for internal and external compliance statements
  • Developing and execution of test methods for physical analysis according legal and customer standards
  • Communication with suppliers, external laboratories and institutes
  • Statistic evaluation for physical tests
  • Execution of activities related to internal and external audits (elaboration of work instructions, MSA, Round Robin Tests, etc…)
  • Elaboration of technical reports including interpretation of results
  • Collaboration with multifunctional core teams (R&D, engineering and advanced technologies) to successfully identify, develop, and launch new products
  • Supporting Operations and Quality regarding physical tests methodology

Our requirements

  • Degree in physics, chemical engineering or plastics technologist
  • Good technical knowledge in testing elastomer materials
  • Knowledge of materials, products and production processes
  • Experience with LIMS is an advantage
  • High level of commitment, sense of responsibility, flexibility and leadership skills
  • Fluent in written and oral English skills (Level C1), good command of German (Level B2) will be an advantage
