Lean & Agile Coach

 

As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Datwyler Production System (DPS) across various plants within your region and potentially globally. Your role will be to lead, mentor, and coach the integration of Lean and Agile principles, values, and tools to drive continuous improvement through workshops, training, and employee coaching. You will also need to establish the appropriate links between group-level objectives, site strategy, and the DPS deployment roadmap, while collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organization.

Your responsibilities

  • Implement global standards aligned with Datwyler's values and strategy
  • Shape the journey towards Operational Excellence through constant communication with the site organization, and define annual objectives and priorities
  • Disseminate information and plans to sites, and continuously communicate with Group Leadership regarding issue resolution, escalation, and deployment status to ensure cooperation within the organization
  • Mobilize the organization through campaigns to enhance participation in Continuous Improvement activities and the Operational Excellence Journey
  • Facilitate workshops and on-floor events, and train Site Operational Excellence (DPS) Leads and employees in Lean and Agile principles, methods, and tools
  • As an ambassador and DPS enabler, connect front-line engagement with leadership in the plant and interface with stakeholders to make things happen
  • Organize and conduct DPS Operational Excellence Maturity Assessments, and if requested, support Sites in defining and following up on action plans
  • Develop a best practice sharing internal network
  • Ensure the successful deployment of the DPS through effective communication and training, while continuously striving for improvement and Operational Excellence

Our requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing Production Systems, with expertise in Production Systems, Lean, and Agile principles and methodologies
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing Continuous Improvement and DPS activities
  • Thorough understanding of the fundamentals and principles of Lean Manufacturing and Agility
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication in diverse settings
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities when working with stakeholders from different educational and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to build trustworthy relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization by showcasing a positive attitude, professional expertise in project management, and exceptional organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and excellent persuasion skills
  • Ability to handle complexity and a strong willingness to take on challenges
  • Willingness to travel frequently (>60%) 
  • Fluency in English (written and oral min. level C1), German and any other language would be an advantage
