Global Program Manager

Purpose of the job - the purpose of the position or why this job exists within the department or organization

  • The Global Program Manager is part of the support staff to ensure flawless launch of new products.   The position supports the Sales and Manufacturing Team.  

Key Accountabilities

  • Open orders for protos / non PPAP parts. Enter orders, track updates to customer.
  • Interact with customers for delivery dates for orders and project builds, including Customer driven charts if requested, also if additional info is required, material certs, approval forms, dim. reports,  etc.
  • International shipments of samples, creating proforma invoices, tracking of all shipments to BDM / customers.
  • APQP – Master router steps for parts, standard packaging per customer requirements if applicable, updating IQMS records.
  • Create IQMS item numbers for new projects, including compound changes.
  • Material changes, weekly updates, and meetings to know status of sampling, dims. , samples sent, and approvals. Then push for implementation by depleting old stock and transition to new approved compound.
  • Organize daily functions for the Project Coordinator. 
  • Work with NPI daily on priorities based on customer requests, needs. Including sampling plan, parts needed, etc.
     

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum qualification required: Bachelor’s degree or a related technical field and 2 years of experience or equivalent.
  • Knowledge/experience required beyond minimum qualification:  Advanced Computer Skills, Technical experience, Exceptional organizational skills, Good communicator, Excel Skills
  • Other key factors: Requires being organized and creative in developing processes and procedures.  Proven experience working in a collaborative, customer-focused environment.
