Quality Technician
Job Responsibilities
- Champion scrap reduction activities
- Champion calibration activities
- Manage the Quality Hold area
- Assist with customer corrective action activities including communication with external customers
- Assist in managing the Quality Audit Team
- Conduct Internal Audits
- Develop and improve all aspects of the manufacturing process (mixing to shipping)
- Create production standards and training guides
- Participate in APQP activities
- Issue supplier corrective actions as needed
Qualifications
- Self-motivated, hands-on
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Available to work flexible hours / travel
- Computer literate
- Familiar with mixing and molding processes
- Ability to troubleshoot molding process to eliminate defective part production
- Work with suppliers to resolve problems
- Supervise Team Members
